Brand new private addiction treatment facility in Joplin, MO, is hiring substance abuse treatment counselors.

Employment is expected to begin in late-December. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday 6:00AM - 1:30PM and Saturdays 7:00-10:00 AM.

Responsible for:

• Assisting patients in identifying, maximizing, and relating their strengths to appropriate social, educational (academic and vocational), and occupational goals
  
• Helping the patients prepare and adjust to a drug free existence
  
• Offering assistance (emotional and physical) in problematic issues
  
• Attending weekly staff meetings prepared to discuss assigned individual caseload
  
• Reporting to the Clinic Director for provision of services to assigned patients and adherence to schedules, established program policies and procedures, and applicable Federal, State and Local regulations
