The Center for Discovery is a six bed residential treatment facility for teens with eating disorders and has the following position open at our Menlo Park facility: ON-CALL MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST: Seeking a Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or Licensed Clinical Social Worker to work on an on-call basis, covering for the lead therapist and the program director as necessary. MUST BE LICENSED. The ideal candidate would have a flexible schedule to provide coverage as necessary, perhaps having a part-time position elsewhere or private practice. Shifts would be during business hours Mon-Fri and may include a full day of work or a few hours at a time. Duties could consist of individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, participation in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings, utilization reviews, discharge planning, milieu management, and administrative duties. Duties will vary depending on the shift covered. Employee will receive detailed information prior to covering any shifts and will also receive 40 hours of initial training. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: ? Individual therapy (1-4 clients depending on shift) ? Family therapy ? Group therapy: Co-lead process group 3x/week, lead DBT and coping skill groups 1x/week. ? Utilization Reviews ? Discharge Planning ? Milieu Management ?
