Job Title: Clinical Services Supervisor

Description:

Responsible management position that coordinates treatment, counseling and clinical supervision of clinic staff as directed by the Clinical Services Director. Participates in developing and implementing clinical program guidelines for new areas of service. Participates in and provides leadership in the organization’s continuous quality improvement efforts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Delivers intensive therapeutic services in an individual, sibling or family situation as needed.
  2. Provides assessment services and caseload consultation. Provides on-going assessment, evaluation, treatment, discharge planning and other counseling services as required.
  3. Completes accurate, timely clinical documentation of the highest quality and consistent with agency standards, rules and regulation, and Medicaid. Completes required assessments, treatment plans and progress notes and CFAR documentation.
  4. Formulates, coordinates and implements programming associated with the Treatment/Care plan through full knowledge of the client/family history and the impact on course of treatment.
  5. Performs case management and communicates with identified partners such as CBC agency, Guardian Ad Litems, foster families, biological families. Attends/Facilitates client reviews and consultations. Facilitates a therapeutic transition and a positive placement for each client.
  6. Maintains and structures the delivery of clinical services under the direction of the Clinical Services Director.
  7. Monitors the overall course of treatment services including the quality of required documentation completed by supervisees.
  8. Facilitates Treatment team meetings, program operations meetings and other meetings as needed.
  9. Facilitates training including New Employee Orientation Training, Therapists, Students and agency trainings.
  10. Assists with the selection process, supervises and trains department program and support staff. Responsible for completing employee evaluations on those directly supervised and for ensuring that an effective employee development, discipline and recognition programs are implemented within framework of The Children’s Home’s policies and procedures.
  11. Assists Clinical Services Director with Mental Health Counselor re: intern placements and student supervision.
  12. Assists Clinical Services Director with trend data research regarding clinical services across the continuum.
  13. Works within the philosophy, function and Personnel Practices of The Children’s Home, Inc.
  14. Attends agency and required training. Trains and implements development activities for direct care staff. Disseminates information, including in-service training to clinical and direct care staff to improve and direct delivery of client services. Trains and supervises (joint responsibility with therapists) of direct care staff in therapeutic environment and treatment plan implementation.
  15. Participates in and provides leadership in Continuous Quality Improvement activities as required.
  16. Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience with treating children and adolescents. Ability to cover on-call duties. Currently licensed by the State of Wyoming Professional Licensing Board or eligible for licensure.
