Job Title: Clinician II-Req: 10-0184 Company: Youth Consultation Service Location: Union city, NJ Description: Clinician II Code: 10-0184 Location: Union City, NJ The YCS Mental Health Clinic, Hudson seeks applicants who are clinically skilled to provide mental health services to children, adolescents, and young adults with mental health issues. Applicant must also be skilled on how to extend support to family members of clients and knowledgeable about community resources. Clients referred to the program may present with any of the following issues: Mental illness, depression, stress and anxiety, transitions, grief and loss, disruptive behaviors, school related problems, and children being discharged from Children's Crisis Intervention Services (CCIS). In addition to the clinic-based services, children being discharged from CCIS will be provided services in the home using family systems approach. This part of the program is for a short time. To provide individual, group and family (psychotherapy- psychodynamic, behavioral, cognitive, task centered, psychosocial and or crisis intervention) to clients, their families and support systems, in accordance with the Manual of Standards for Shelters, Group Homes and Residential Treatment facilities established by the New Jersey State Division of Youth and Family Services, NJAC 10:124; NJAC 10:127 and NJAC 10:128 and Manual of Standards For Community and Psychiatric Community Residences established by the New Jersey Department of Human Services, NJAC 10:44A and NJAC 10:37B and/or Outpatient and Partial Care Mental Health Services in accordance with regulations established by the Department of Human Services, Division of Mental Health Services, and Department of Children and Families, Division of Child Behavioral Health Services in conjunction with internal Youth Consultation Service guideline manuals. Education Requirements: Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling, Doctoral level psychologist, or related mental health discipline. Current NJ State licensure to practice; social work in the State of New Jersey as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW); Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC); Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC); Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT). Experience required: Two (2) years of full-time clinical work experience; prior supervisor experience preferred; Bilingual a plus!
