Duties:The Assistant Behavior Analyst must be knowledgeable in applied behavior analysis (ABA) with experience working with children and adolescents diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities presenting with severe aberrant behaviors (e.g., self-injury, aggression, disruption, elopement, pica, etc.) in school settings The primary duties of this position is to assist in behavioral assessment and treatment of a small number of students in the New York City metro area schools, serve as the reliability observer on different clinical teams, and to coordinate meetings between all team members. The Assistant Behavior Analyst will also serve as the lead follow-up clinician to those students who have been discharged from the program. This is a school-based consultation program; traveling is required.
