Experts would be responsible for executing military healthcare programs focused on psychological health, traumatic brain injury, and those benefitting wounded, ill, or injured warriors.Job Responsibilities: Serve as a subject matter expert Provide clinical input and knowledge of empirically-based practices concerning psychological health and traumatic brain injury to support Navy medicine Assist with policy development and practices pertaining to traumatic brain injury, neuropsychological/cognitive assessment, and military service members Review project proposals and provide clinical and general recommendations to ensure feasibility Collaborate with military healthcare providers and researchers to develop projects focused upon military health, particularly improving the lives of wounded, ill, or injured warriors. Job Title: Personnel Research Psychologist Company: Location: Washington, DC Description: The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Senior Psychologist supporting Air Force personnel testing and research, including all operational programs and policies to select and classify Air Force personnel. Manages a program of applied research with Air Force-wide scope and responsibility. Conducts innovative research and analyses to address operational problems and develop recommendations for new policies and procedures Manages and applied research program with Air Force recruiting scope and responsibility. Identifies total force research, analysis and process issues spanning Air Force recruiting, selection, classification, promotion, utilization, and retention in support of operations and strategic planning to support Air Force mission capability. Independently consults and interacts with Air Staff force management policy offices and Project Air Force (Rand) to advise leadership on program improvement recommendations. Works with DOD, Air Staff, other services, private sector, and international professional and military allies to identify current and developing force management and psychometric methodologies, leverage resources, and facilitate synergistic discussions and plans. Performs novel large scale analysis on Air Force and contractor developed data bases and applies recognized I/O psychology principles: research design, statistical analysis, validation, bias, adverse impact, Uniform Guidelines. Provides technical oversight of operational Air Force selection, classification and utilization processes, procurement, promotion, and proficiency testing, ensuring program meets psychometric and legal standards.
