Job Title: Mental Health Worker/Chemical Dependency Professional Trainee Company: Location: Yakima, WA Description: Comprehensive, an innovative behavioral health care and service provider, is currently recruiting for a non-benefited Mental Health Worker/Chemical Dependency Professional Trainee in our Yakima, WA facility. Responsibilities include providing coverage for various shifts and providing direct, non-medical client care to clients admitted to the detoxification center. Organizing and engaging residents to participate in social/leisure activities. Monitors and documents symptom and medication response. Educates residents about physical and psychiatric illness, medication and side effects. Other responsibilities include completing daily documentation, transportation of residents and house maintenance duties. Qualified applicants will possess AA degree or equivalent and/or one year related experience and/or training. Must be enrolled in a chemical dependency program at an accredited school.
