We have three Doctors all part time and a low but increasing patient load, therefore initial work load may not be that high, likely to increase over next 6-12 months. Our Medical assistant does most of the scheduling, basic vitals, BMI, and reception and billing work. Though mental issues varies by patient, our psychiatric technicians must be able to provide any care that is required. In addition tech would play an integral part of patient education about psychiatric symptom management. Additionally, they may be involved in the administration process like respond to patient understanding of how the office bills, what the doctors do for the services that is if patient family has some questions before or after the appointments (specially acting as a back up to our medical assistant).
