Job Title: Psychiatric Technician-PRN Company: The George Washington University Hospital Location: Washington, DC Description: Meet the needs of patients and to support the Department by performinga variety of service related activities, including maintaining facilities, supplies, and assisting with basic patient care activities. Maintains assigned hospital areas in a clean, orderly, and attractive condition by performing a variety of cleaning activities. Assists with patient nutrition activities to ensure accurate and timely service. Assists patients with eating as needed. Maintains par levels on SPD carts, distributes supplies, picks up and delivers instruments. Transports a variety of materials, including but not limited to: specimens, pharmacy cart/supplies, general supplies, medical records, films, reports, and mail. Transports patients throughout the facility. Accompany patients out of the unit for group walks, individual passes off of the unit. Requirements High school diploma or equivalency College degree in behavorial science preferred or minimum of one year Psychiatric Technician experience in an In-Patient actue psychiatric hospital required Current Basic Life Support Training
