Incumbent will serve as ASAP Chief, managing and implementing the installation program. This includes the Risk Reduction Program, Employee Assistance Program, Soldier Biochemical testing and the Drug-Free Federal Workplace programs, Education and Training, Suicide Prevention, and program evaluation. Develops and implements local ASAP SOPs and policies. Studies and implements technical directives and regulations from higher authority and supervises application through ASAP employees. Prepare local plan of action to include special projects/programs. Principal advisor on matters related to substance use and abuse and its effect on readiness. Provide data for budget and manpower planning to higher headquarters and manage the installation ASAP budget. Supervise personnel assigned to the ASAP. This includes performing all actions in support of personnel, e.g., hiring, orienting, contracting, directing, supervising, monitoring, and evaluating performance.
