SCSB employs 250 staff, with a FY 2010 budget of 13 million and is governed by a policy-making Board of Directors appointed by localities served, to whom the incumbent reports. Incumbent provides management/leadership for all agency programs and services including strategic, operational, program, fiscal management, human resources, and all legal compliance with federal and state statutes and licensing agencies. A Master’s Degree in business, public or hospital/health care administration, social work or a closely related field preferred. Any equivalent combination of education (including undergraduate degree) and experience which meets required KSA’s with four years management experience minimum. Must have knowledge of health care system and skills in budget preparation, drafting/implementing program, personnel and fiscal policies. STARTING salary $89,000 to $115,000, dependent upon qualifications and experience. Excellent fringe benefits. Position to manage and oversee the Therapeutic Foster Care (TFC) program in Roanoke, VA.  Ensures that quality services are provided to our clients.  Markets program and represents First Home Care in the community.  Manages the recruitment, training and approval process for therapeutic foster parents.  Develops sound program and market program to agencies in need of our services. Provides training to staff assigned to the program.   Undergraduate degree in Social Work or Human Services field/Master's degree preferred. Four or more years of direct clinical experience with children, adolescents and their families.  Previous foster care supervisory experience required.    Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker or Professional Counselor strongly preferred.  Must possess knowledge, skills and abilities in the area of family dynamics; crisis intervention skills; skills in clinical supervision; ability to work well under pressure and short deadlines and the ability to manage multiple cases concurrently.  EOE
