Prior work experience with the intellectually disabled and knowledge of treatment modalities and intervention techniques required. Bachelor's degree in a human services field with minimum one year experience in direct care required. Provide general, individual and group instruction in social, prevocational, and independent living skills and follow prescribed strategies for psychosocial rehabilitation. Maintain accurate documentation to meet all regulatory guidelines and strict confidentiality. Possess effective communication skills and valid driver's license with safe driving record. Responsible for all aspects of program including administrative and clinical supervision in conducting early intervention/educational services to developmentally delayed infants/toddlers. Monitors compliance with Federal Part C requirements for records and Individual Family Service Plans (IFSPs); coordinates services with private OT/PT/speech therapy providers; and ensures operation within budget. Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Human Services related, RN, or any discipline listed under Part C Personnel Standards (Master's preferred) with three years related experience and one year supervisory experience required. Must be Virginia Certified in Early Intervention and Licensure appropriate as detailed in the Infant and Toddler Connection Practice Manual.
