Assists with medication reconciliation. Participates in unit rounds and team meetings while addressing the behavioral issues of patients. Supervises and guides the interdisciplinary team. Assesses patients needs and guides the clinical team while managing treatment plan updates, in addition to initiating contact with outside Providers according to established guidelines. Serves as on-call as directed. Is responsive to psychiatric consultation in the medical / surgical settings of the hospital as appropriate when on call.
