Job Title: Research Assistant 1 HSS Company: Yale University Location: New Haven, CT Description: 1. Work with two Clinical Instructors (LCSW's) providing in-home parent/child work and substance abuse treatment to parents and children under the age of 8 years old. 2. Provide outreach to clients in their homes, organizations and community service agencies as assigned.3. Will provide appropriate services for delivery of adequate care, referrals to appropriate services, support for special needs related to parenting and/or family issues. 4. Conduct drug testing.5. Participate in weekly clinical group.6. Participate in meetings and conferences as required.7. Collaborate closely with Department of Children and Families and various service providers.8. Develop knowledge of special issues relating specifically to substance abuse, infant development and parenting.9. Will provide crisis intervention service to families as needed on a 24 hr/7 days per week basis (as needed).10. Maintain accurate case related forms including weekly records of services provided to client and collateral contracts. 11. Perform related duties as assigned.12. Attend weekly supervision with Clinical Coordinator of program.
