Therapist (LCPC, LGPC, LCSW-C, LMSW, LMFT, LGADC, LCADC, PMH)

Location: Hybrid – Baltimore, MD 21217
Position Type: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Internship (W2 or 1099 options)
Compensation: $70,000 – $100,000 annually (based on experience & availability) | Fee-for-service available
Reports To: Clinical Director

 

Position Summary

America Therapeutic Health Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The therapist will assess and treat individuals with mental, emotional, and/or substance use disorders, including alcohol, tobacco, and drug-related issues. Services may include individual, family, and group therapy, crisis intervention, case management, advocacy, assessments, prevention, and education. Responsibilities

  1. Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions.
  2. Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
  3. Offer crisis intervention, advocacy, and case management services.
  4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
  5. Demonstrate understanding of co-occurring disorders and integrate appropriate interventions.
  6. Link clients to housing, social services, substance abuse treatment, vocational programs, and community resources.
  7. Assist clients in navigating entitlements and healthcare coverage.
  8. Engage families in the rehabilitation and recovery process.
  9. Facilitate skill development in daily living, independent living, and social functioning.
  10. Conduct functional and psychosocial assessments to guide individualized treatment planning.
  11. Monitor client progress, adjust services, and ensure quality outcomes.
  12. Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with HIPAA and organizational standards.
  13. Participate in quality assurance, peer review, and health/safety initiatives as directed.
  14. Maintain weekly contact with assigned caseload and identified supports.
  15. Serve as an advocate for client rights while promoting independence and community integration.

 

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
  • Active Maryland license: LMSW, LGPC, LCPC, LCSW-C, LCADC, LGADC, LMFT, PMH, or LCSW.
  • Knowledge of mental health and substance use disorders, including treatment modalities and systems of care.
  • Experience in counseling, crisis intervention, or case management (preferred).
  • Strong communication, empathy, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

 

Working Conditions

  • Schedule: Flexible hours; hybrid remote/in-office options available. (Expected 20–40 hours/week based on agreement.)
