Knox Winamac Community Health Centers, Inc., a Federally Qualified Health Center, is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to work in a busy outpatient clinic.
Purpose of Position/Summary: To provide a range of psychological services as wells generic mental health services as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Provides consultation utilizing scientific principles, theories and methods of psychology.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Responsible for providing individual and family counseling/psychotherapy, psychological assessment, behavioral management consultation. Serves as a member of interdisciplinary team and may provide case management, treatment planning and other generic mental health services. Provides training to various staff on clinical issues.
Doctoral degree in clinical psychology, counseling psychology or closely related area with considerable knowledge of relevant areas of psychology such as personality, psychopathology, learning and behavioral analysis, psychometrics, tests and measurement, statistics, etc. Possession of a valid license to practice psychology in the state of Indiana as issued by the Indiana Health Professions Bureau and endorsement as a Health Service Provider in Psychology (HSPP).
Ability to apply interviewing, psychotherapy and counseling skills.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Ability to determine approach to routine problems without immediate and direct supervision.
Requirements: Prefer experience in providing services in outpatient environment serving the uninsured and under-insured,
