Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County

Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County

CCSCC serves and advocates for families and individuals in need, especially those living in poverty. Rooted in values, we work to create a more just and compassionate community in which people of all cultures and beliefs can participate.

Approximately 500 employees and hundreds of volunteers annually serve 40,000 individuals of all cultures and beliefs through a broad base of programs organized through Advocacy and Community Engagement; Behavioral Health Services; Children, Refugee Foster Care, Youth and Family Development and Older Adult Services; Economic Development Services; Emergency Programs and Housing Services; and through our affiliated Charities Housing Development Corporation. Our compassion and commitment extend beyond direct service to those in need. We work to address the root causes of poverty in Santa Clara County through incubating innovative solutions to poverty, advocating for policy changes and convening partners to address urgent community needs. CCSCC is the social service and social justice arm of the Diocese of San Jose and works with parishes to build partnerships and increase their capacity for service.
