Currently Hiring: Social Workers & Postdoctoral Residents in Psychology
We are excited to announce that we are looking to hire clinical psychologists, postdoctoral residents in counseling or clinical psychology, licensed social workers, and licensed clinical social workers. We are also interviewing for our 2021 training cohort in clinical social work and psychology.
DLA is dedicated to providing culturally-sensitive, collaborative, strengths-based service to individuals, couples, families, and groups. We assist clients across the lifespan (children, adolescents, and adults) who are experiencing distress, anxiety, and other overwhelming emotions related to acute, chronic, and terminal medical diagnoses, caregiving, end-of-life and hospice, grief and loss, and life transitions (relationships, college, careers, retirement, empty-nest, and others).
Our team has specialized training in thanatology (death, dying, bereavement, and loss), health psychology (medical trauma and acute, chronic, and terminal illness), and clinical hypnosis. We provide training to our clinicians to become certified in these areas.
We prioritize respect for diversity, honoring the intersection of each person’s unique backgrounds and identities and what that means for them.
Everyone deserves the best care;
There is no “right” way to heal;
Individuals are not defined by their grief or illness;
Everyone has a place here.
Everyone is welcome at DLA regardless of age, disability, religious and spiritual beliefs, race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin. We are proud to be an ADA-compliant practice.
Benefits of Working at DLA
