Job Description

Are you a PSYPACT licensed psychologist interested in having a significant effect on the lives of students? Would you like to earn extra income while you manage other responsibilities in your life? Do you envision being able to work for yourself and design your own schedule? Marker Learning is for you.

Marker Learning is a mission-driven and fast-growing company aimed at providing highly accessible and affordable Psycho-Educational evaluations to all students who require them. To help support our growth, we are hiring part-time licensed school, educational, or clinical psychologists. Primary duties will include administering academic and intelligence tests, creating comprehensive reports, and providing students and parents with feedback on the findings - fully in a remote environment.

As a Marker Learning psychologist, you will decide your schedule each week (hours will range from 2-20+). This is a unique opportunity to receive individualized training in remote evaluation administration, to be part of a fast growing company, and to make an impact on the lives of students. The Marker Learning platform has also revolutionized report writing; we use algorithms and work flow software to reduce the average time spent writing an individualized, best-in-class report to 1 hour, on average. Gone are the days of spending hours writing a report from scratch!

The position requires the following:

  • Administer academic and intelligence (e.g., WISC-V) evaluations in a remote, digital environment.
  • Synthesize intake forms, behavioral observations, and evaluation results to develop a comprehensive report including potential diagnoses and actionable recommendations.
  • Lead feedback sessions with parents, students, and school administrators.
  • Follow company-wide processes to ensure reports are created in a timely manner and are saved securely in the company’s database.
  • Comply with confidentiality and laws and Marker Learning policies.

To qualify for this position, you will need:

  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Professional manner and a willingness to learn our platform.
  • Comfort with computers, as the position is fully remote and requires a working knowledge of computers and computer programs (e.g., ability to conduct a Zoom meeting, enter data into Microsoft Excel, etc.)
  • Minimum of one year of academic testing experience with children, including full test administration, scoring, and interpretation of standardized academic tests such as the WIAT, WJ, or KTEA.
  • At least one year of experience in intelligence testing administration with children, including full test administration, scoring, and interpretation of standardized cognitive ability tests such as the WISC-V.
  • At least one year of experience in writing integrated psychological evaluation reports, including test interpretation, clinical formulation, and recommendations.
  • Master's degree (or higher) in school, and a license to practice clinical or educational psychology to practice in the state.
  • Private location with secure WiFi to ensure confidentiality and uncompromised administration of the tests

Other Benefits of Joining the Team:

Payment clarity: We eliminate any uncertainty with insurance billing. It will be clear how much you are paid per evaluation (target compensation is $70/hour- we also compensate you for the time spent writing reports and in training).

Flexible schedule: You choose your availability, and the students/parents will book times directly with you on the platform.

Individual Training: We will provide you with the training and support your needs to be successful. We have 24 hour support for our psychologists.

Remote Environment: Avoid the commute and stay at home. The role will be fully remote.

Materials Provided: We will supply you with the testing materials (e.g., the WISC-V) at no cost to you.

Mission Driven: The goal of the organization is to provide reliable and affordable testing to every student who requires it. We believe that Marker Learning has the potential to change the evaluation landscape across the country.

Support: Marker Learning will manage all elements of your “digital practice”, allowing you to do what you were trained to do.

Fun: Join a growing team of fun-loving, hardworking, passionate individuals with varied backgrounds who are excited about making a difference in the lives of students.

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or national origin.
