We are now hiring for the following position:

Position: Licensed Mental Health Professional or Associate

Schedule: Weekends, 6 hours on Saturday and 6 hours on Sunday; 12 hours per weekend

Location: J Reuben Long Detention Center, Conway, SC

Pay Rate: $32 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Interview, review history, observe, and evaluate to identify treatment interventions, determine proper therapeutic approach, or referral to other specialists
• Provide crisis management, and use short-term, solution-focused therapy to patients if appropriate; provide crisis intervention and emergency services
• Demonstrate knowledge of DSM-5 criteria and appropriate interventions
• Initiate an interdisciplinary treatment plan and participate in the ongoing treatment planning process
• Consult with other members of the healthcare team, and corrections professionals, in the performance of therapeutic and/or casework
• Document promptly and properly
• Evaluate success and reliability of treatment used; change treatment interventions when indicated
• Participate in the review of clinical issues and program policies and procedures
• Observe all policies, procedures, and professional standards; follow governmental guidelines
• Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives and maintain safety, environmental, and infection control standards
• Adhere to MEDIKOs Standards of Professional Conduct

Qualifications

• Licensed Mental Health Professional, or License-eligible (LPC, LPC-A, LMHC, LMHC-A, LICSW, LCSW-A etc.)
• Must hold Current CPR/BLS certification prior to start date
