Statement of the job: UMA Counseling Center is committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all students, staff, and faculty. The Clinical Mental Health Counselor provides direct in-person and remote clinical services to UMA students through short-term counseling, crisis intervention, and referrals. This role provides essential support to our student population through a collaborative and holistic approach.

Qualifications

Required:

+ Masters degree in counseling, social work, or related discipline

+ Clinical counseling license eligible

Preferred:

+ Experience working with college students or in an educational setting

+ Awareness of student development stages for both traditional-age and non-traditional-age students

Salary: The normal hiring salary range for this position is in the mid to high $50s and is commensurate with training, education, and experience and will take into consideration the salary of current UMS employees for transfer/promotion.
