Psychiatrist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in Boston, Massachusetts

An Adult Inpatient Unit is seeking a Psychiatrist for locum tenens coverage.
While in Boston, Massachusetts, you have the opportunity to see one of the most historic cities in the United States. In between all the tours and famous sites, take a trip to Fenway Park or get some seafood at any of the downtown spots like the Union Oyster House that is one of the oldest restaurants still in operation today in the United States.
This is an inpatient-only position with a Monday to Friday schedule, 8 AM to 5 PM, at the hospital. Providers will see an average of 8 patients per day and handle approximately 34 admissions daily across the entire unit. Rounding is required. The support team includes an administrative assistant, nursing staff, social work, and occupational therapy. The patient population is aged 16 and older. No procedures are required. Documentation is completed in EPIC. Candidates must be Board Certified, as required by medical staff bylaws; a fellowship is not required, but prior experience is necessary. Credentialing is expected to be completed as soon as possible, and temporary privileges are available.
