Software Developer

Worksite Location: 152 West 57th St., Suite 36SW, New York 10019. *** Position allows telecommuting and may require intermittent domestic travel (5-10%) to provide on-site services at unanticipated client worksites throughout the U.S. Alternatively, position may require relocation to an unanticipated U.S. client site for a long-term assignment.Requirements: Bachelors degree (or foreign equiv) in Electrical and Telecommunications Engineering Technology or related field + 2 years experience as a Software Developer. Experience is required and must include the following: 2 years in software development in the automotive domain; 2 years in telematics and connected vehicle applications; 2 years in architecture design, low-level design, converting to UML diagrams; 2 years debugging, logging mechanisms, log analysis; Use of the following technologies: Agile Methodology, Scrum framework, VS Code, Qt Creator, QNX Momentics, Eclipse, Vector Configurator, Signal Processing, CANoe, CANSubSystem, Git, GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, SVN, Jenkins, Perforce.Duties: Development and integration of telematics domain with different domains and Electronic Control Units (ECUs); Provide critical support with application's integration; Support integration of CAN SubSystem with OEM's ECUs; Verification of stability and security for software modifications prepared by others; Specification analysis, support for its development and updates of sources; Prepare technical design and architecture of software components, including new applications; Develop evaluation specifications, participate in drive tests and provide quick analysis of found issues; Analysis of program flows and preparation of UML sequences, component and state diagrams using Rhapsody and PlantUML tools; Development of modifications to existing software or new applications developed for Automotive Linux platform. ***Position allows telecommuting and may require intermittent domestic travel (5-10%) to provide on-site services at unanticipated client worksites throughout the U.S. Alternatively, position may require relocation to an unanticipated U.S. client site for a long-term assignment.
