Adult Inpatient Psychiatric Unit Summary

36-bed acute adult inpatient psychiatry beds spread across two units of 24and 12 beds, respectively
Evidenced-based mental health treatment

Available Roles:

Full-time Days
PRN Days & Nights

Schedules:

Full Time: Three 12-hour shifts and every 3rd weekend
PRN: two 12-hour shifts per 6-week schedule, occasionalweekend, holiday and hard-to-fill shifts

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needsfrom routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• 1 year of RN experience required; at least 1+ year of inpatient psychiatric RN strongly preferred. For PRN role: at least 2+ years of inpatient psychiatric RN experience required.
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required.
