Schedule: This is an in person position, Monday through Friday 8:30am-5pm.
Wage Range: $72K - $83K, Salary, Exempt

Position Overview:
The Mental Health Therapist will provide intake and assessment services; individual, group and family
therapy. Referral and follow up services. Hours of work are flexible to meet program needs, with some
evenings and weekends
What you will do:
- Provide intakes and assessments for clients admitted to residential treatment program.
- Provide individual, group, couple, families and multifamily therapy sessions.
- Contribute to the Women's Intensive Outpatient Program as needed.
- Serve as consultant and liaison with referral sources and treatment providers.
- Complete written diagnostic assessments and impressions, treatment plans, progress notes,
discharge summaries and other documentation as required. Contribute to development of treatment
plan with residential counselor.
- Provide crisis intervention services as needed including referral and follow up.
- Participate in community mental health awareness and community outreach programs of NARA/NW.
- Provide referral and follow up and outreach services as needed.
- Participate in residential and clinic staff meetings as needed.
- Participate in quality assurance activities including chart reviews.
- Attend and provide relevant training as assigned.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary clinic staffing and meetings as needed.
- Provide services at the Residential Treatment Program 3.5 days per week and the clinic 1.5 days per
week.
- Perform other duties as assigned in order to fulfill NARA's mission.
Qualifications
We would like to hear from people that have:
- Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or psychiatric nursing plus two years paid
experience as Mental Health Specialist, dual diagnosis experience.
- Licensed as Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Marriage
and Family Therapist and Alcohol and Drug Counseling Certification.
- Minimum of two years sobriety/clean time, if in recovery
- Ability to pass background investigation for all potential hires in order to determine any history of
sexual and child abuse and/or any other relevant history.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen for all potential hires.
