Responsibilities:

As a Remote Special Education Teacher with VocoVision in Ohio, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for K-12 students with special needs.
• Delivering virtual instruction and tailored support to meet the unique learning requirements of each student.
• Collaborating effectively with parents, educators, and related service providers to optimize student outcomes.
• Conducting assessments and ongoing progress monitoring to ensure students' growth and development.
• Actively participating in virtual IEP meetings and contributing insights to enhance the educational experience.
• Maintaining accurate and organized electronic records of student progress and communication.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, candidates should have:

• A valid Ohio teaching certification in Special Education.
• Demonstrated experience working with K-12 students with special needs.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Comfort with telepractice platforms and digital teaching tools.
• A reliable internet connection and an appropriate computer setup for remote work.
