NYS licensed/permit psychotherapist with CAT degree - Hybrid Position

We are a private mental health practice located in New Yorks Hudson Valley, and provide Creative Arts Therapy to all populations. We are looking to expand our staff with hybrid (Newburgh location) motivated and independent professionals who are passionate about using creative and holistic methods to address mental health needs.

This *hybrid* PART-TIME (minimum 10 client hours per week) position requires a candidate who will:

- Provide culturally-sensitive, trauma-informed mental health care to niche or general clients including children, adolescents, adults, families, groups, and (with appropriate training, couples).

- Accurately assess and provide psychotherapy treatment through a creative arts modality.

- Efficiently maintain current and accurate client online files within the EHR on a timely basis.

- Collaborate and communicate effectively and consistently with team members and supervisors.

- Engage in professional development and continuing education.

- Be available for and engaged in meetings and supervision

- Be available to see clients both virtually and IN OFFICE (Newburgh). Daytimes, Evenings, and weekends are needed.

- Have reliable transportation

Requirements:

- Masters Degree in Creative Arts Therapy discipline
- NYS LCAT Licensure (NYS LCAT limited permit holders are welcomed to apply) OR NYS LMHC/LMSW/LCSW *with* CAT certifications (registered or board certified - MT-BC, BC-DMT/R-DMT, RDT, ATR, etc).

Compensation is based on experience, performance, and client case load. Beginning pay range is $37.50-$65 per individual client hour (limited permit holders start at a slightly lower rate) with an opportunity to grow, advance, gain reimbursement for CEUs, and earn more.

The availability will need AT LEAST 1 weeknight and 1 weekday. The in-person portion of the hybrid position will require hours in the Newburgh office (Monday daytime, Tuesday daytime, Friday daytime and/or evening, Saturday daytime, Sunday daytime are available to choose from).

*It is important to note that we are a private pay practice. Therefore, a full caseload cannot be expected at the start. Although we will be working alongside you building your caseload, caseloads take time to build, so patience is a key component of the right candidate.
