This Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor (LPMHC) is the Program Manager of a 20-bed Domiciliary PTSD (DOM PTSD) for Veterans with PTSD reled to military service. The DOM PTSD provides a specialized, complex array of psychosocial rehabilition services.
The duties include but are not limited to the following:
Responsible for all aspects of the clinical care and support services provided to veterans participing in the DOM PTSD. This includes full responsibility for managing day-to-day activities of the program.
Makes decisions which directly affect staff and other resources associed with the DOM PTSD. The Program Manager makes decisions while exercising wide litude and independent judgment.
Responsible for stregic planning to ensure the provision of high quality, comprehensive services which address broad rehabilitive needs of Veterans with PTSD.
Develops and implements short and long-tern goals and objectives consistent with the program's stregic plan. In addition to supervising staff from multiple disciplines, the Program Manager has oversight of administrive and programmic resources, which are deployed to support program needs. The incumbent develops and implements policies and procedures to meet program goals, VHA policy and external accredition requirements.
Monitors outcomes using da-driven quality assurance processes. The incumbent implements stregies for measurement-based care and program improvement based on da analysis.
Makes independent decisions and oversees complex care provided by interdisciplinary staff th provide evidence based psychotherapies for trauma. Qualified incumbents provide direct care and supervise evidence -based psychotherapies for trauma. They use outcome and utilizion da for resource allocion and program evaluion. Qualified incumbents versed in the relevant nional directives, provide clinical and administrive supervision to an array of disciplines, and independently form comprehensive quality improvement initiives in response to safety concerns or new nional directives.
Work Schedule : Full-time | Monday to Friday | 8:00am to 4:30pm.

Paid Time Off: 37-50 days of annual paid time offer per year (13-26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year).

A master's or doctoral degree in: Clinical Mental Health Counseling; Clinical Rehabilition Counseling; Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Clinical Rehabilition Counseling; or a reled field, from a program accredited by the Council on Accredition of Counseling and Reled Educional Programs (CACREP). Examples of reled mental health counseling fields include, but are not limited to Addiction Counseling; Community Counseling; Gerontology Counseling; Marital, Couple, and Family Counseling. CACREP defines the de when gradues are considered to have gradued from a CACREP accredited program. Additional informion may be obtained from . Licensure. Must hold a full, current, and unrestricted license to independently practice as a Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor, which includes diagnosis and trement.
May qualify based on being covered by the Grandfhering Provision as described in the VA Qualificion Standard for this occupion (only applicable to current VHA employees who are in this occupion and meet the criteria).
GRADE REQUIREMENTS

Experience.
Must have least one (1) year of progressively complex experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level. The experience must demonstre possession of advanced practice skills and judgment, demonstring progressively more professional competency.

Work, divided between office and clinical settings, is primarily sedentary. May require prolonged standing, modere walking, and manual dexterity. A master's or doctoral degree in: Clinical Mental Health Counseling; Clinical Rehabilition Counseling; Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Clinical Rehabilition Counseling; or a reled field, from a program accredited by the Council on Accredition of Counseling and Reled Educional Programs (CACREP). Examples of reled mental health counseling fields include, but are not limited to Addiction Counseling; Community Counseling; Gerontology Counseling; Marital, Couple, and Family Counseling. Must have least one (1) year of progressively complex experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level. The experience must demonstre possession of advanced practice skills and judgment, demonstring progressively more professional competency.
