POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Financial Systems will be a strategic and operational leader responsible for the development, design, implementation, optimization, and administration of RealTruck’s financial systems. Reporting into the IT function, this role will serve as the liaison between IT, Accounting, FP&A and business unit leadership as well as external teams to ensure seamless integration of systems that will support RealTruck’s strategic initiatives. The role will deliver automation and implement best practices and standards across the business units and corporate functions to create value and efficiency.

CORE FUNCTIONS

Strategic Systems Leadership

  • Lead the strategy, development, and ongoing management of key financial systems including Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Backline, LeaseQuery, Fixed Assets systems, and other enterprise finance platforms.
  • Define and maintain the long-term financial systems roadmap, aligning technical enhancements with business growth, scalability, M&A activity, and IPO readiness.

Systems Integration & Data Management

  • Own and manage all non-EDI integrations with NetSuite, ensuring accurate and timely flow of financial data across internal systems and third-party platforms.
  • Oversee the onboarding and integration of new brands into the Order Management System (OMS), maintaining alignment with financial systems and internal controls.
  • Ensure seamless interoperability between ERP, EPM, and BI platforms, and support data integrity, automation, and audit-readiness.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Finance, IT, and Business Operations to translate strategic goals into system architecture, functionality, and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with IT teams on software architecture, infrastructure, information security, data governance, and system performance monitoring.

System Implementation & Support

  • Lead end-to-end implementation, upgrade, and optimization projects across financial platforms, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, and change management.
  • Provide best-in-class user support, training, and documentation for financial system users across the organization.

Performance & Vendor Management

  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts for financial applications, overseeing service-level agreements (SLAs), escalations, and renewals.
  • Monitor and maintain system performance, uptime, and incident response for critical financial tools and integrations.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of analysts and system administrators.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement in financial systems operations and support.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or other related degree required. Master’s degree preferred.

· 10+ years of related experience required, including 5+ years of management experience.

· Advanced knowledge of financial applications such as NetSuite, HFM, LeaseQuery, OMS platforms, and integration tools.

· Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with executive stakeholders.

· Strong project management skills and familiarity with Agile or hybrid methodologies.

· Skilled in Microsoft Office.

· Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

· Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.

· Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions.

Travel

· Minimal travel required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

· This position is subject to Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involved sitting most of the time. Walking and standing are required only occasionally.

Physical Activities

· This role is subject to the following physical activities: the use of fingers to pick, pinch, and type, talking, and hearing.

Visual Acuity

· The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly of fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
