Job Description
We are seeking a licensed Cardiologist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment at a Hospital in Oregon. Starting 06/30/2025, this role requires expertise in general cardiology cases. The physician will work Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, with both 8-hour and 24-hour shifts available. Key responsibilities include managing 12-15 patients per day, conducting new patient consults (45-60 minutes), and follow-up visits. Utilize Epic electronic health record system
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Assess and diagnose various cardiac conditions
Develop and implement treatment plans
Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Participate in patient education regarding cardiac health and management
Stay updated on latest developments in cardiology
Adapt to the specific needs and workflows of the cardiology department
Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and best practices in cardiac care
Additional Information:
Experience in general cardiology is essential
Strong clinical decision-making skills in cardiac patient management
