Behavioral Health Registered Nurse

Job Summary Our client is seeking a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse to provide nursing care to adolescents and children, ages 5-17, in a 16-bed facility-based crisis unit. The primary goal of this role is to deliver stabilization, de-escalation, and medication administration services to patients experiencing acute psychiatric distress. The position requires a trauma-informed approach in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment focused on safety, structure, and compassionate care. Key Responsibilities Provide nursing care to children and adolescents in crisis. Administer medication and monitor patient responses. Implement strategies for stabilization and de-escalation. Collaborate with team members to ensure a supportive and structured environment. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) qualification.
