Finance Associate

A leading political fundraising firm located in Washington, DC, is looking for candidates for a Finance Associate position to work with highly competitive U.S. Senate campaigns. Fulkerson, Kennedy & Company works with many high profile US Senators and Congressional candidates leading the DC, PAC and national fundraising operations for their clients. Job duties will vary with experience, but will include: Work with a team of 2-4 to create and execute the national finance and DC finance program for incumbent US Senator candidate Prepare memos and briefings for clients Staff members of Congress at fundraising events in DC Conduct outreach to hosts and donors to build national fundraising trips Work with the DC PAC community to organizing fundraising events Maintain notes and logs in database systems Successful candidates for the finance team have: Campaign or finance team experience via professional capacity Excellent organizational skills, impeccable attention to detail, and ability to work effectively within a flexible and adapting work environment Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain systems for record keeping and reporting Knowledge of and experience with NGP and Numero databases, as well as Google Sheets or Excel Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment Strong verbal and written communications skills Goal-oriented work ethic
