As an outpatient therapist, you will design and implement effective and compassionate treatment and interventions. You will integrate developmental, systemic, experiential and trauma-informed models.
This is a full-time position working 2-days per week between the hours of 8:00 am - 4:00 pm out of our Watertown location.
Catalyst Medical Clinic is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.
Essential Functions:- Provide psychotherapy as defined by the clinic
- Conduct diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, psychotherapy, and discharge planning
- Keep up to do date with continuing education per the state of MN
- Compliance with clinic documentation standards
- Compliance with licensing board rules and APA and AAMFT Codes of Ethics
Education and Experience Requirements:
- A master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Social Work from a regionally-accredited academic program.
- Licensed as a Mental Health Professional as per Minnesota State Statute 245I.04.2:
- A Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW),
- Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT),
- Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC),
- or Licensed Psychologist (LP)

- Actual starting pay will vary based on education, skills, and experience.
The pay range displayed reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated for employees working less than a full-time schedule.

Essential Requirements:
Ability to:
- Provide high quality ongoing therapy with patients
- Maintain complete and organized outpatient health records
- Ensure appropriate coordination of care for patients and collaboration with other professionals
- Evidence of a high level of professionalism within the field
- Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to respect diversity and integrate issues of culture into case conceptualizations
- Ability to adapt interventions to patients’ strengths, skills, and developmental levels
- Ability to intervene decisively, when necessary, to protect patient safety
- Ability to comply with clinic documentation standards and best professional practices
- Comply with company policies, procedures, practices and business ethics guidelines.
- Complete job required training.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, (e.g. HIPAA, Stark, OSHA, employment laws, etc.)
- Demonstrate prompt and reliable attendance
- Work in the clinic, office or surgery center during business hours
- Travel independently throughout the clinic, office or surgery center (which may include movement from floor to floor); frequent bending, lifting, standing, stooping or sitting for long periods of time may be required
- Work at an efficient and productive pace, handle interruptions appropriately and meet deadlines
- Communicate and interact in a respectful and professional manner
- Prioritize workload while being flexible to meet the expectations of the daily operations
- Apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Understand and execute a variety of instructions
- Effectively operate equipment and communicate on and operate the phone system
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Travel to other work locations, if required
