Job OverviewClinical psychologists play a pivotal role in supporting the veteran community by conducting thorough medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's compensation benefits process.The successful candidate will review behavioral health records electronically through a secure web portal and perform comprehensive in-person assessments for each Veteran.This position requires a high level of analytical skills to review medical records and assessment data, exceptional time management abilities, and proficiency in electronic documentation and web-based portals.Main Responsibilities:Conduct in-depth disability assessments for U.S. Veterans on an individual basisReview and analyze electronic medical records via a secure web portal to ensure accuracy and completenessDocument exam findings and complete required forms accurately and efficientlyEssential Requirements:Ph.D. or Psy.D from an accredited program/school with a strong focus on clinical psychologyAn active and unrestricted Psychology license is mandatoryProficiency in using technology to review records and complete documentation is essential
