Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • To provide initial and ongoing psychiatric and counseling assessments to patients living with HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) Infection).

  • To provide clinical assessment, treatment planning and patient/family counseling and education according to government and department standards.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Work Characteristics

  • Two (2) years of related experience

  • Knowledge of principles, methods and procedures for diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of physical and mental dysfunctions

Salary Range: $45,395-$70,000

Education

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Mental Health, Social Work or related Human Services field required.

  • Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.

  • Must be able to obtain the Alcohol & Drug Counselor License within thirty (30) months of hire.e the f
