The Department of Psychiatry is seeking to hire a part-time Psychologist to join the Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS) Clinic. The Clinic offers annualized, evidence-based social skills programming for youth and adults who are struggling socially. Primary duties include:
  • Evaluate and monitor symptoms, difficulties, and strengths/resources using interviews, questionnaires, and standardized tests
  • Provide individual, group, and family treatment and intervention
  • Communicate recommendations to patients and families at program visits and in written reports
  • Provide care management and support

Please note, this is a limited appointment that may convert to career
Salary range:58.54/hr - $77.20/hr Job Qualifications

PhD or PsyD in Psychology Valid CA Psychologist License Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Suite Software (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) and scoring programs for assessment measures used in ADDPC/ADDC Prior experience developing intervention programs for child and adolescents Prior experience managing behavior of individuals with psychiatric disorders across the life course Extensive experience working with children and families Extensive training in a variety of psychological assessment measures Extensive knowledge of evidence-based interventions Extensive experience conducting behavioral analyses and implementing behavior intervention techniques Excellent oral and written communication skills Demonstrated organizational skills and time management skills Ability to handle confidential patient information As a condition of employment, the final candidate who accepts an offer of employment will be required to disclose if they have been subject to any final administrative or judicial decisions within the last seven years determining that they committed any misconduct; or have filed an appeal of a finding of substantiated misconduct with a previous employer.
