The Department of Psychiatry is seeking to hire a a part-time Psychologist II to join the Insomnia Clinic. The Insomnia Clinic provides behavioral treatments for insomnia that do not involve medications. Primary duties include:- Delivering CBT-I treatment through structures individual therapy sessions
- Running therapy sessions using cognitive-behavioral therapy
- Reviewing clinicians intake materials to develop personalized treatment plans
- Tracking patients progress through sleep diaries, clinical assessments and session interactions
- Maintaining timely documentation in the electronic medical record system
- Training psychology interns, externs, and residents
- Other clinician duties as assigned

PhD or PsyD in Clinica Psychology Valid CA Psychologist License Minimum 2 years of post-doc experience Previous experience with insomnia patients Previous experience with CBT-I Strong computer skills including word processing, e-mail systems, spreadsheets, and electronic medical records Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing Ability to work and practice professional relationships with other therapists, medical personnel, and patients As a condition of employment, the final candidate who accepts an offer of employment will be required to disclose if they have been subject to any final administrative or judicial decisions within the last seven years determining that they committed any misconduct; or have filed an appeal of a finding of substantiated misconduct with a previous employer.
