Psychiatric Nurse (RN) - Manchester, New Hampshire

Schedule:

• 2nd Shift: 2:45pm to 11:15pm
• Five 8-hour shifts per week (no 12-hour shifts)
• 13-week contract commitment

Key Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license for New Hampshire (must provide a copy upon submission)
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA and/or ARC
• Minimum of two years of direct in-patient psychiatric nursing experience
• Strong clinical assessment and crisis intervention skills
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with psychiatric and behavioral health disorders
• Conduct patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and monitor patient progress
• Administer medications, manage treatment protocols, and respond promptly to behavioral emergencies
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in discharge planning, patient education, and family support
• Maintain accurate, timely records in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards
