Associate Professor, Academic Clinician, Division of Integrated Behavioral Health- CHOP Location: Philadelphia, PA Open Date: Dec 19, 2025 Deadline: Dec 19, 2027 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Associate Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of neuropsychology assessment in clinical care and research protocols with a special focus on autism. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Pediatric neuropsychology internship and fellowship required; certification in pediatric neuropsychology preferred. Teaching responsibilities may include high quality teaching including didactic lectures to interns, fellows, residents, as well as medical students from the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania. Excellence in teaching is required. Other responsibilities may include clinical supervision of psychology externs, interns, and fellows; lectures to pediatric residents, radiology fellows, and psychiatry residents. Clinical responsibilities may include providing inpatient and/or outpatient services. Candidates must show evidence of continued excellence in clinical care and supervision. Other clinical responsibilities may include research assessments for participants in studies in the Radiology Division and clinical assessments in the Neuropsychology and Assessment Outpatient Program including for children with autism. There are opportunities for engagement in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. Research is not required for faculty that are on the AC Track.
