Description We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Therapist to join our team of passionate employees in the pursuit of improving the quality of patient lives. The role of a Behavior Therapist is to provide direct intervention services to individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and related developmental disabilities. Primary responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following: Entry-level position (experience Experience working with children with developmental disabilities and other mental health diagnoses is recommended) Scheduled work hours are based on availability, qualifications, and performance. Most Services are provided to clients Monday-Friday between the peak hours of 2:00PM-8:00PM Behavior Therapist will work 1:1 with clients in the home, implementing behavior support plans and skill acquisition programs while maintaining a fun learning enviornment for clients Teach communication skills, social skills, self-help skills, and play skills through Applied Behavioral Analysis principles Engage in and ensure client safety Accurately collect data as prescribed in real-time Complete session notes and medical documentation for services Implement feedback by direct supervisor Arrange environmental variables to increase client motivation Maintain dignity of the client while assisting with personal care Adhere to ethical practices and core values of Kind Rhodes Needs: Reliable means of transportation, valid CA driver's license, registration, and proof of insurance, TB test and Must pass a criminal background check (FBI/DOJ clearance) Our team is growing and Kind Rhodes is looking for passionate and motivated individuals who are ready to help create positive impacts in the lives of their clients while building their clinical and professional skills.
