Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Details: Job Type: Full-time Hourly pay: $27+/hr Key Responsibilities:
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) as designed by the supervising BCBA
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with behavioral and developmental needs
Collect and record accurate data on student progress and behavior
Assist in classroom management and promote a positive learning environment
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to ensure consistency in interventions
Support students in developing communication, social, and daily living skills
Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in accordance with school and legal guidelines
Qualifications:
Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (or willingness to obtain)
High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred
Experience working with children, particularly in a school or ABA setting, preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain patient, flexible, and supportive in a dynamic environment
