Child & Adolescent Psychiatry opening near Albany, NY** Located in Schenectady, NY - Albany 20m We are seeking a full time Outpatient Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist in Schenectady, NY, with a clinical focus on both adult and child/adolescent populations. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well established outpatient psychiatry program that has supported the community for more than 50 years and offers strong system resources within a collaborative, team based environment. * Psychiatry Program provides comprehensive behavioral health services for adults, children, and adolescents, delivering high quality, patient centered care across the continuum. * Provide outpatient psychiatric care for adult and child/adolescent patients at the Outpatient Mental Health Clinic * Monday-Friday schedule with 8 hour shifts * No inpatient responsibilities * Call Rotation: * Weekends: 1 weekend per month * Nights: Rotating call * Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary behavioral health team **Highlights** * Join a long standing and respected outpatient psychiatry program * Predictable weekday schedule supporting work/life balance * Strong interdisciplinary support and system infrastructure * Collaborative, physician friendly environment * Opportunity to care for both adult and pediatric psychiatric populations **Qualifications** * MD or DO * Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry * New York State licensure and DEA required (or eligibility) * Prior outpatient experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply * Strong clinical skills, communication skills, and commitment to team based care **Recruitment Package** * Compensation is between $318,449 and $354,957 commensurate with experience with the ability to earn more through a generous quality incentive * Relocation assistance is available. * $25,000 starting bonus * $30,000 retention bonus * Comprehensive health, vision, and dental coverage * Paid malpractice, including tail coverage * CME time & expense allowance * Paid time away from the practice * Retirement savings program * Loan Repayment: our institution qualifies as an eligible employer for the federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program.
