Key Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
  • Experience supporting children or adolescents with autism spectrum disorders or related behavioral/learning needs
  • Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and practices
  • Proficient in implementing individualized behavior intervention plans
  • Ability to collect, record, and analyze behavioral data accurately
  • Collaborative mindset, with excellent communication skills to engage students, teachers, and families
  • Adaptable and compassionate approach in diverse classroom situations

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver dedicated 1:1 behavioral services to assigned student(s) in resource and self-contained classrooms
  • Implement ABA-based intervention and support plans as prescribed by a supervising BCBA
  • Observe and document student behaviors, progress, and interventions daily
  • Collaborate with educational staff and families to adjust strategies and celebrate student growth
  • Support general student well-being and classroom management efforts
  • Uphold confidentiality and maintain high ethical standards in all interactions
