• Academic Appointment with the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicineideal if you enjoy teaching and mentoring
• Work closely with psychiatry residents and medical students , shaping the next generation of physicians

• Be part of a system with 13 residency programs and 16 fellowships , including Psychiatry, Addiction Medicine, and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry

Meaningful Clinical WorkWith Balance

• Manage a focused inpatient caseload (1012 patients/day)
• Treat an acute adult population in a high acuity, short-duration environment
• Lead a multidisciplinary team , enhancing both patient outcomes and your leadership skills

What You Bring

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board certification or eligibility (ABPN)
• Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
