Position Summary:
POSTING FOR UNMC EMPLOYEES ONLY

The Behavioral Health Practitioner II ( BHP -II) will conduct comprehensive assessments for autism spectrum disorder and co-occurring conditions (e.g., attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, global developmental delay, intellectual disability). The BHP -II will also provide outpatient behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and their families, while coordinating with other professionals involved in treatment (such as physicians, care coordinators, psychologists, and other service providers) to ensure continuity of care. Additionally, the BHP -II will develop treatment goals and implement either manualized or individualized treatment protocols. Individualized treatment protocols will be developed by the BHP -II. This position will involve clinical supervision of clinical staff and trainees. This position will also aid faculty in scholarly endeavors, such as applied research and grant funded projects.
