Complete documentation within 24 hours. Help assistwith housing application, referrals for housing resources, renewals, andensuring housing issues are addressed to help people continue to have stablehousing. Monitors service delivered are authorized, ensure caseload is accurate,use time towards travel, scheduling and activities needed to ensure successfulface to face appointment. Attend agency required training, supervision, meetingas scheduled by supervisor. Will keep up with essential learning to performassigned work. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent and Anycombination of training and experience, which would have enabled the applicantto acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities in advocacy or advisoryor governance and one (1) continuous year as a current or former recipient oftreatment (including mental health/substance abuse treatment or diagnosis) Mustbe certified as Peer Specialist by the Georgia Department of Human Resources.
OTHER DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS APPLICABLE TO THIS POSITION: In addition tomeeting the minimal qualifications, preference will be given to those with aBachelor's Degree in a human services area and Certified Peer Specialistdesignation with one year experience at the level of Certified Peer Specialistor a position with similar duties. OR one year experience at the SST -2 levelwith Certified Peer Specialist designation OR five years' experience at thelevel of Certified Peer Specialist .
