As a crucial member of the support team, you will collaborate with educators on specialized and resource programs, including the STARS program serving students with low-incidence disabilities and resource settings for broader classroom support. Caseloads are designed to foster meaningful relationships and achieve visible progress with each student.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active IL Special Education (SPED) license with LBS1 endorsement (non-negotiable)
  • Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA)
  • Experience working with elementary and/or middle school students in educational settings
  • Capacity for collaboration and effective communication with multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and case management abilities

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop behavior intervention plans, and monitor student progress
  • Provide direct services to students and consultation to staff for effective behavioral support
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to goal setting, and maintain compliance with state/federal requirements
  • Foster collaborative partnerships across classrooms and specialties to enhance student outcomes
