This contract role, located near Manchester, CT, offers a unique summer schedulework Monday through Thursday, 8:30am to 12:30pm, with no commitments on Fridays. Your professional expertise will foster positive change and growth for students during an engaging four-week program from July 7th to July 30th.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active BCBA certification is required
  • Previous experience providing or supervising behavioral therapy in a school environment, ideally across a variety of age groups
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work closely with educators, support staff, and families
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet students unique behavioral needs
  • Excellent organizational skills, especially when managing diverse caseloads

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavioral assessments and develop behavior intervention plans for students from preK-8th grade
  • Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to implement effective behavioral strategies
  • Monitor student progress, adjust interventions, and provide coaching to staff as needed
  • Maintain appropriate documentation and follow ethical and legal guidelines for student records
  • Support a positive learning environment by modeling proactive, solution-focused approaches
