Additional Position Details: Union position | FTE: 0.9 | Full Time | 3rd Shift - Nights Patterned Salary Range: $53.99 - $77.79 Shift Differentials: $2.50 extra for working between 3:00pm - 11:00pm $10.00 extra for working between 11:01pm and 7:00am $2.50 extra for working weekends External candidates may be eligible for Relocation Assistance! Position Summary Our Psychiatric Care Unit (PCU) is located on the first floor of Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center (ARRMC) in the Emergency Department (ED). This is a four-room unit under the umbrella of Emergency Services (ES). When the PCU is full, patients overflow into psychiatrically-safe rooms in the ED. This unit is open 7 days a week, 24 hours per day. Asante's vision is to significantly improve the patient experience for people facing a mental health crisis. That vision included adopting a trauma-informed approach to mental health care called The Sanctuary Model, as well as creating a resiliency support program called Team CARE Response for employees. We are seeking experienced Psychiatric Care RN's with the ability to adapt in a constantly changing environment along with excellent communication and ability to work with multiple community agencies in a respectful and efficient manner. Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred Experience Related Mental Health Nursing experience required (for day shift positions) Charge nurse experience within last 3 years preferred Completion of Sanctuary training preferred License/Certification RN: Registered Nurse licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing required upon start BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start Preferred Certifications PSYCH: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse CMSRN: Certified Medical Surgical Registered Nurse MSN RN-BC: Medical Surgical Nurse RN Board Certified Total Rewards We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package designed to support your well-being and professional growth, including: Competitive Pay: Hourly and salaried positions earn market-based compensation.
