Psychiatric Counselor I

The Psychiatric Counselor provides a variety of patient care activities, including individual and group counseling in the context of patients' treatment plans.
This position reports to the Nurse Manager, Behavioral Health and operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures.

BA or BS in Psychology or related field from an accredited school required
Current CPR certification required
CPI certification required within 90 days
Minimum of 1-3 years experience working with the mentally ill and substance abuse populations required
