For 80 years, we have been one of upstate New York's largest providers of programs and services for individuals who have disabilities. Many of the innovative programs and vital services that we offer are not available elsewhere. We are searching for a School Behavior Intervention Specialist in Albany, NY. The successful candidate must be a dynamic clinician with a strong clinical background and ability to work well with teams. The primary role of the School Behavior Intervention Specialist is to provide consultation and behavioral support to students and classroom teams. Responsibilities : Responsible for completing going functional analysis and as necessary the development of behavior intervention plans. Model the implementation of behavior intervention plans, support the implementation of the plans, and train staff as needed. Become SCIP-R trained, as well as become a SCIP-R trainer Position involves facilitating staff and family training and special projects as needed. Requirements: Graduate degree (Masters, Doctorate) in field of Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related field Specialized training, license, certification, skills: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) preferred At least 1 year of job related experience, specifically in working with people with developmental disabilities and with children in an educational setting A t The Center for Disability Services, we don't just accept difference - we celebrate it, support it, and thrive on it for the benefit of our employees and the people we support.
